Incorporation of Group Steel Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Group Steel)

Group Steel started commercial production of galvanized steel.

1999 January
Group Steel started commercial production of pre-painted galvanized steel.

2000 December
– China Steel Corporation of Taiwan officially took over the management of Ornasteel and Group Steel.

– Both Ornasteel and Group Steel had been awarded the ISO 9002.

2002 December
Both Ornasteel and Group Steel had successfully upgraded to the new version of ISO certification, ISO 9001:2000.

2004 January
Incorporation of Ornasteel Holdings Berhad. (OHB)

2004 December
OHB was successfully listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.

2007 February
The new 4 feet reversing cold rolling mill started commercial production.

2008 June
The name of OHB and Ornasteel changed to CSC Steel Holdings Berhad
and CSC Steel Sdn. Bhd. respectively (CSC Steel).
